Now im quite ashamed to post a thread on this subject bt something got me thinking other day
I dont watch the show myself but my kids do and i happened to walk thro the room while they was watching it on catch up telly
There was a guy who lived in France and had traveled over to go on the show and did some dance and got 3 votes yes
Im sure all who watch it knows who i mean
Now this got me thinking

or am i missing something, is it anyones whos got a pass port and can get on the shows got talent lol

I was thinking the same but then put it down to the fact that France is part of the EU so has rights to enter a compition but I did have the same thoughts as you... lol |

I usually watch the heats as I like Ant & Dec taking the piss from the side of the stage. But decided not to this year as I don't like Michael Mackintyre, can't see the point of having David Hasselhoff and although I feel very sorry about her recent loss of her baby I've never liked Amanda Holden either so that decided it for me, just don't watch at all.
But yes see your point about someone French entering, shouldn't really be allowed in my book unless of course they actually live in the country.  |

Clearly goes to show what a load of drivel this show is if it cant even adhere to its own terms & conditions and screen contestents properly..
And people wonder why its called a fix!

It's like everying else in the UK - Imported !
We can't even brew a decent pint of beer anymore, Make a decent car, build a ship ..
Just look at your local football team (I know fuck all about football) - but how many of the players are British ??
Maybe the show should be renamed 'Britain's Got Fuck All' |

That's what I thought when I saw it...it's not France has got talent or Romania has got talent etc...it should be only open for British people...on the other hand I really couldn't give a monkeys !  |

I posted exactly the same thing as the OP has stated on a post a few weeks ago when the someone started a thread called bendy bloke, something like that.
I obviously thought it at the time too. I have usually enjoyed the previous years Britains Got Talent, I enjoy the opening episodes of people who are really rubbish and embarrassing to watch. But the judges this year are just listening to sob stories and letting anyone go through.
Yes I may be hard hearted and im sorry that some kids havent got dads, or that someones husband is in Afghanistan etc etc, but the show is about picking out talent from obscurity - not letting through any tom, dick and harry just cos theyve suffered a personal tragedy. We've all got sob stories. |
