Absolutely, hands down, the single most beautiful thing ever recorded is This Mortal Coil’s cover of Song to the Siren. If you don’t know it, have a listen on YouTube. It’s just stunning.

Bad Wolves - Zombie
The day Dolores O'Riorden (singer in the Cranberries) was supposed to record her vocals on this track. She died of drowning due to alcohol intoxication. Very sad!  |

I'm currently OBSESSED with this instrumental cover of Tears for Fears 'everybody wants to rule the world'. It's just so perfect and uplifting. And that lap steel harmonising is just... Mmmmmmmm

Gonna sound weird, but a US band called NinjaSexParty have released a couple of albums called "Under the Covers" where they cover their favourite songs.
