Anyone else experienced a rapid quick delete of a message you sent?
Just spent 15 minutes writing this lady a well written response to her ad looking for men. Tried to incorporate into it everything she had asked for and was looking for, and wasn't rude or crude in any way.
Told her a little about me but mainly focused on what she was asking for.
Was polite, and went over it after for spelling mistakes. Included a face pic as requested.
Sent the message and literally checked 5 seconds later it was deleted.
Do women take the time to read a well written message or do they take a quick look at the face pic first then if it's not for them, they just delete without reading the message.
Just curious |

i cant speak for all, but i think most will check the profile first, and if it doesnt appeal for any reason, then they will delete..with or without opening a message...and no, you cant tell if they looked at your profile necessarily...and no, its not rude. |

Thanks for your response Anna. I don't think it's rude as I understand women get inundated with messages on here. Was just curious & wanted to hear a women's point of view. |

Why did you waste all that time writing one message, just copy and paste something, saves time |

You spend a quid on a ticket in the hope to win the lottery.
You spend 15 minutes writing a message in the hope to get a shag.
That's the chances you take
If you won every time, we'd all be millionaires and sexually exhausted |

"If the site did away with the 'sent messages' option life would be so much less stressful for those who watch it continually "
Agreed. I don't 'message watch' but if I'm contacting someone new and have attached a picture, I do value the 'remove pictures' option if I'm not right for them.
For messages without pics attached I tend to do bulk deletes every now and then. |

We tend to look at the profile first, before reading a message.
Quite often, a profile can put us off before we've read the message.
If someone has taken the time to send a decent message. We'll usually reply, even if they're not for us.
One liners etc, we just delete. |

As long as you've not deleted the sent message (and you're a site supporter) you can remove the pics whenever you want |

You'll soon learn that the women and couples hold all the cards.
Had similar experiences and I find its the ones that ask for a nice long message and clear face pic that are the worst.
You've just got to accept that being a single bloke on here is just asking for a kick in the balls! |

Not allways, just don't try to hard, at the end of the day some profiles are just not worth the effort, they are here to boost their fragile egos |

"Might just be that she has checked profile saw four cock pics and an unclear face pic and it might not have been what she's looking for
"
I was going to say that - TBH if I saw justs 3 pics of a minge and nothing else I wouldn't email them
I would improve your photos and your profile then try again and I would say avoid looking at sent box |

I check the profile. If i don't like the look of the person i won't reply. ...and to be honest if the message is longer than a couple of sentences i won't bother to read it either.
I'm not one that expects a carefully tailored first message. I don't understand those that do. I think it's a waste of effort for someone who probably won't be interested. |

You wouldn't waste time and effort on trying to have sex worn someone you weren't attracted too. It's the same for practically everyone too. Attraction in one way or another, must be there. She didn't ask you specifically to message her, so in fairness you aren't owed a reply. Harsh maybe but that's how it is. Everyone has a goal and does not want to waste time in achieving that. |

That'll be it. I don't message new people very often at all, but if I do and they've either not read the message or opened it but not replied or deleted I'll tend to wait about 36-48 hours and then delete the pics on the assumption they're not interested (making an allowance for people's busy lives meaning they can't respond straight away) |

Ah there's the OTHER function that allows you to do that too - remove pic once opened. Again I think it's a site supporter thing - I'll message you now and you'll see .. |

Just stick to the "fancy a fuck" messages instead lol.
Seriously though, it pee's me off when you put so much effort into a message only fur it to be immediately deleted. It's the reason I mainly use Fab to keep in touch with people I met in clubs and at parties xx |

Send the message you want to send, not one that is demanded of you. You don't have to obey anyone on here. Finding someone compatible may take time, but at least you will have a good time together. |

when i go through my inbox (which isn't very often as i usually just let messages build up and chat to who i'm chatting and don't bother starting new chats much and mass delete everyone else later) i will go through them individually deleting the ones i'm not interested in, if someone messages me while i'm doing this it's likely i will delete their message by accident and it would happen straight away. |

When someone does message me, I don't want them parroting back what I have written on my profile. I want an insight into their personality not a check list. Someone can say hi, and if I like the look of them, I say hi back. Then, a conversation ensues and we go from there. |

Ahh yes people use this with us, one of us opens it, sees the pic, the other (usually me lol) is at work,by the time I get home the pic has been deleted. Weeither have to ask for it again, which gets frustrating having to keep explaining, or we can't be arsed and things go no further |

Profile is key
Endless messages saying the same thing gets boring nor do you want a novel to read.
Check profile check message decide...
If it grabs attention I wet myself a little
