"Will my body go into shock when I head to the Frozen North next week? "
Yes...
Don't forget your vaccinations, pj's, fluffy dressing gown, slippers, thermals and translation tool.
Two days in Leeds and I have no fucking clue what Jason is saying |

I went up to Manchester a couple of weeks ago for football.
I come out of my hotel and walked up to the stadium wearing underarmour, a sweat top and a jacket.
Whilst eating my burger I looked at a few ladies and children all wearing just their Utd shirts!!
I couldn't stop laughing and the words "southern softy" we're firmly placed in my head. |

Will I start asking for gravy on my chips?

It sounds like I'll need to find some 'underarmour'.

"I've not dug my coat out yet, but I'm starting to feel a bit chilly in just a cardi "
So, on the Northern hard vs Southern Softy scale do I need to get a balaclava and arctic gear or will a coat and scarf suffice? |

"I'm heading south tomorrow and looking forward to warming up a little.
Albie is moving north in three weeks from the south coast and is in for a shock I think! "
We're expecting to feel some of the Arctic blast tomorrow... but it will still be warmer than the Oop North.
London is a heat island, which does give us a different experience of the same air temperatures.

Well other northerners around me seem to be wearing coats so I think you need the full gear plus thermal vest!
I'm just odd, I've been swimming in a lake in November a couple of years back |

"You'll be needing your long vests that cover your bum and mittens.
I think every vest I have could probably cover my bum and mittens. If I had any mittens."
I'll knit you some with L and R on them |

That would be useful... will I be able to work out which one goes where? |

All this talk of going north and wearing extra clothing yet nor a single mention of what pie might ward off the cold
Meat and potato, a pasty, steak and kidney?
There can can be only one pie to raise the temp at my time of life
Pork pie
The heartburn does me for at least 2 hours

Get some more dogs in and they'll keep you warm.
I hope it's fixed soon.

Just what I need to go with the 2 I've got as well as the parrot and rabbit. Think I'll fix the boiler |

Parmo is the chickeny-pizza type thing isn't it? I don't think I'm there long enough to need to go that native.

Ah it's nice if u manage to find a place that does decent parmo's, it's like our equivalent to pie n mash (miss them). A trip to London next weekend is on the cards for me I think |

I don't like those. It felt like I'd wet myself when I sat on one.

Never had that but I only have it on for a couple of minutes as it burns your arse if it's on any longer |

Yeah, its practically tropical! "
Your coat was bigger than mine. I haven't had to wear the duvet coat thing.
