I am a big fan of a refreshing gin and tonic..

So much so that I joined the gin tasting club and I'm very impressed with this months offering...

So what's your favourite tipple folks?

Truro

Different moods have different tastes for me.

I like Bombay sapphire and tonic after work on a Friday, if going out for a meal a nice Bloody Mary before dinner.

Red wine goes with everything especially a chateauxnuef de pap.

If out with the lads then a corona

Gin and tonic slushies in my freezer and about 7 different types of gin waiting to be tested.

Waiting for when I don't have to crawl out of bed for a week!

I like a highball of Sipsmith gin, a glass of Brancott Estate Cabernet Merlot or Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc, and a pint of Aspall.

(and snacks)

It's an Australian one called Four Pillars..

distilled in the Yarra Valley..

The botanicals are very herby and aromatic

Where I live it's not that popular it would appear! Then again I'm not out often!

Or was that an invitation!

Once had an interesting variant of a mojito, from a club in Prague. The white rum was replaced with a really dry gin (can't remember the brand) and the mint was replaced with fresh coriander, think the sugar had a bit of rock salt mixed with it as well.

May sound odd, but one of the best drinks I've ever tasted. Tried with not much succcess to replicate it...........if anyone recognises this drink and knows how to make it properly then pleeeaaassseee PM us x

Dumfriesshire

I'm in the same gin club OP but my parcel is currently stuck in South Midlands sorting office so I've had to order some consolation gins from the nice Amazon Prime man instead for tonight's gin night.

Last months gin club was gorgeous and I'm sure this one, when it eventually gets here will be equally yummy x
