Hi guys,
I assume that people on Fab have a liberal attitude towards sex.
Do people also feel they have a liberal rather than conservative outlook on in terms of life and politics? or vice versa?

I'm just finishing a History and Politics degree........
I come on here to get away from it......
But to be honest, I don't think swingers have differing attitudes to politics just because they have a liberal sex life!
Peoples political leanings are just that, their leanings.
Their sexual preferences are completely different. |

So that's where we're going wrong  .
In future we'll ask couples about their political persuasion when we make "the phone call".
( If that doesn't work, we'll chat about religion ).

People are amazed sometimes when they get too know me that although as far as sex goes im probley as liberated as they come but i live my life by a certain set of rules and i never sway from them.
As for politics and religion everyone has there own views and always will have thats why it is a very "hot" subject to debatexxkarenx |

I find there is a definate link between swinging, sex and politics.

do you not think that when people react to politics in a disgusted manner then it just adds to the problem?
Also, i think that politics has brought a lot of happiness- womens rights, gay rights, civil rights etc.
not that any of those have anything to do with swinging
But I will issue an apology to everyone who i upset by tlking politics. |

There’s nothing liberal about swingers, we’re not any different from any other walk of life, you’ll notice that even in this lifestyle, there are many who judge others because they do things different from themselves. |

That is true promiscious.
I always thought having this lifestyle would mean the people enjoying it would have a very open minded attitude, but I get surprised all the time by people being judgemental because they are doing different than them.
Lets face it, we would be shunned by most if everyone was to reveal what they get up to,so being shunned by the people who are supposed to be liberal is a bit odd.
