Now then.. the age old question for you girls.
As a youth we were brought up believing that buy a nice sporty car and girls will just flock at your feet for raunchy sex.. right guys!!
Now.. I know a few people with nice sporty numbers and believe me lol... Most people just think, what a nob lol..
Now.. have any of you girls ever thought different about a guy because of a 'nice' car??? Good or bad lol...

I have a mis spent youth hanging out at Santa Pod "Run What You Brung" I really fancy a guy that had a Nash Metropolitan comvertable.
I also really really fancy someone that turned strange things into vehicals to race then, for example, speed boat, out house, ect.

Same here Honeypot ;o)
I look at men in sporty little numbers and think "small cock" but that's just me.
I have a thing for Audi's and Alpha's - but what gets me going more is a motorbike!! I was brought up around them and on them. Gets me every time.

_edhot4blk - You sound like my Ex. She went through a punto, a fiesta, a laguna, a matiz (shame), my leon FR550 and also took thole wing mirror off my bosses Golf R32. All within 3 years. Again not hitting any other cars but to her tally was - 3 railings (twice the same one), a lamppost, plughed through a new roundabout and finally a set of traffic lights followed by someones garden wall.
Kinda why we split cos she worked about 15 miles from the house and her insurnce was enormous i think at last count her beetle was costing her £192 per month just to insure... the best laugh was when i got a speeding ticket in for doing 37 in a 30 and she slagged me for months saying she was still a better driver. MANIAC. |

Bet they wished there was a few cheap ones down South with all that snow, lol.
Theres quite a few about Nth Yorks with all the farms and such.I'd have thought it'd be a decent market up there. The thing is though they last a bloody long time,as Clarkson showed when he tried to destroy one on t.v.So ppl usualy stick with the one they have.

hi ric...your right they are fantastic motors and they do what it says they do on the tin but there are so many of em up here they are dirt cheap plus with 4x4 road tax going up soon and cost of fuel no one wants em and you see em going for silly money, one at the end of our road very tidy motor, full tax, and mot, full history not a thing wrong with it about 8yrs old he wants £1,500 he did have it for sale at £3,000 but has been dropping it bit by bit, im holding out till it gets to a tenner then i'll buy it..lol b cool tony |

There is no such thing as 4x4 tax and there isn't going to be any, any time soon, just in case anyone is wondering. Anything older than 2001 is £185 a year to stay, (apart from inflation).
What is going up is tax on cars 2001 or younger which emit over 253 (I think from memory), grammes of Carbon Dioxide per Km travelled. Ironically most 4x4's are classified as Light Goods, at £175 per year anyway.
That means most of your average family cars will cost more than £185, and up to £400 very quickly, so be careful if you think you can sell your ten year old Surf and buy a new people carrier or Mondeo estate, cos you will be slammed with £400 a year instead of the £185 of your Surf.
Ric, your Surf does 30 to the gallon doesn't it surely? Crikey thats loads more than my V8's ! I'd keep it if I were you mate. It's a far better motor than most of the crap about these days that you have to plug into a computer before you can even change the brake pads. Total shit, new cars are. Tin and pointless electronics designed to fail prematurely.
Jxxx
By the way. MGBGTV8 Sebring, (3.9 efi) anyone?
It has been sticky inside on occasions, but the footwells are too narrow for comfort!
Or for the blue light brigade, RAF Range Rover 6x4 Airfield Fire Tender, in green and black camouflage? He he. |

Don't you just find that though.... generally, the better the car in terms of being exotic as such.. not the normal stuff the bloke or woman for that matter driving tends to ... err shall we say.. kinda overate themselves a bit lol...

Hey Mads 30,I wish, maybe down hill with the clutch in,lol. It probably does late teens round town and mid to late 20's on a run.I know I can't afford to keep the bugger, reckon its mpg is comparable to my old Trans Am.
I'd love one of the Rovers with the 2 ltr BMW Diesel, brill economy and luxury combined.
