I am sorry to have to tell everyone that went to the charity night, that one of the young ladies who attended has been confirmed as having a MILD case of Swine Flu.
We have been told by the doctors that there is little or no cause to worry as it is a MILD case.
However, if someone has underlying health problems, the advice from her doctor is to ring NHS Direct and they will contact your doctors immediately.
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES VISIT YOUR OWN DOCTOR, YOU MUST WAIT FOR YOUR DOCTOR TO CONTACT YOU.
If you have any cold or flu symptons in the next couple of days, please ring NHS Direct, once again...... DO NOT go to your surgery.
The young lady who is infected is besides herself. She thought she was just tired and had NO idea that she had this or she would never have attended. The good thing is, she only played with her own partner and a couple they attended with. They did not play with anyone else.
If anyone has any questions or concerns, please mail me directly or speak to NHS Direct.
BUT....... I must reiterate, there is little or no risk to anyone.
Please be sensible, do not judge and do NOT panic. |

most of us are going to come into contact with someone who will have it / go on to have it at some point over the coming months ...its going to be like trying to avoid every coming into contact with the common cold.
sensible advice there maddie and get well wishes from me to the person concerned xxx |

Hope everyone is okay, but the really the key thing is don't panic. It really is just like typical flu, and no more dangerous than normal flu.
Best wishes to those concerned |

LOL!
I jokingly said before I got there, it would be a good place to catch it.
But I went anyway, eye's open and no trousers. LOL
So I'm not going to hold it against anyone.
I wish her a speedy recovery and everyone a mild case only if you get it!
Had LOADS of fun though!! Let’s do it again!

"so when are we going to get some sort of amount that was raised on the night ?"
I'll post the amount when the photo competition is over as we are waiting for that money to be taken by Chams.
It's not bad for a first attempt though. |
