Actually, I'm very lucky that all the guys I work with are absolutely brilliant and more like family than colleagues. |

I think my work colleagues (theres only 4 of us in our team) are wonderful women and I enjoy every minute being with them. One exasperates me at times as she is so old fashioned and anti femininity (I drive her mad with my clothes, shoes and diamantes) but she s an absolutely lovely kind lady. Her lack of deodorant bothers me tho.  |

I am with Fmuma on this one, we are like a family; everyone is different, we learn to get on and we have to as its an open plan office, we get used to each others foibles (I think thats the right spelling) and learn to stay away if they are not in a good mood.
At another place i worked at though i did hate someone so much that i refused to work with them and didnt attend their leaving do |

Dont hate anyone. But I did have a situation nearly 3 years ago where it got uncomfortable. Had a play with my female boss on the christmas works night out. She was a total bitch with me until the day she left. |

My work colleagues don't warrant that much of my emotional energy. There was one boss I had that tried to make my life a misery, he had the temerity to say he didn't even know what I did!
Sigh...the pleasure it gave me showing him!  |

Hate is a bit strong but I wouldn't be sorry if he was hit by something random falling from the sky.
I've learnt (after a long time) not to waste my time hating arseholes. He gets pleasure out of knocking a rise from people. He's a bully and I'm fairly sure his wife makes him wear a gimp suit at home. I can't do anything about the way he behaves, I can only do something about the way I behave towards him.

For personal reasons, there are a few people I truly hate, hate with a passion, I’m well beyond the stage of being eaten up with anger / bitterness, however, I’ dance on there grave given the opportunity.

I can say I intensely dislike many of my work colleagues, in sofar as I wouldn't pisson em if they were on fire.
The vast majority of them are stuck so far up their own arses they can see their tonsils.
It comes with the department I suppose, Pharmacists have to have studied for 4 years and obtained a degree in pharmqcology. Its a profession that has always attracted those from the upper classes, even more so than doctors.
Then the technicians nowadays have to have a degree and so on down the line. Each of the various groups thinking they are far superior to us mere mortals who do the real work.
Believe it or not there is a female pharmacist who still does not call me by name, even though I have been in the department for 12 years  Its beneath her to use names, we are expected to stop and listen to her when she speaks |

I don't hate any of my colleagues. Dislike some of them, are indifferent to the rest of them. I have no desire to see any of them out of the workplace as they are so dismissive of anything they don't understand, it would do literally do my head in. Its bad enough dealing with it in work. |

I don't hate anyone....lifes too short for all that.
As for disliking people that hold higher positions, have been more succesful, and/or earn more money.....sounds awfully like envy.
Hardly a basis for hating someone....

Nope, hating someone takes too much effort and I usually can't be bothered.
I 'like' people instead, so much easier and more fun!

dislike yes
worked with someone who i disliked a lot, we were at the same level and she would stab you in the back as soon as look at you. when it came to staff cuts i kept my job and she was given her cards. mind you it might have something to do with the fact that she went in to the inter_iew and said she wanted a pay rise and not a cut. or that she threw 3 pepole of her shift and had 1 refuse promotion as it involved working with her. (the 3 who were thrown off her shift were all very good workers). and just to think i gave her now ex husband a job who got her one. |
