Siren's fast asleep upstairs with littleun and I've turned off the TV, blocked out the outside world and it's all nice and peaceable like. I have a nice long Pimms & Lemonade here and am settling in for a pleasant evening on the boards.

It's a lovely refreshing drink and Siren & I both like it, particularly on a hot Summer's day. The reason I was drinking Pimms at 1am is that over the last two weeks I'd pretty much worked my way through a case of wine we'd ordered (only two bottles left) while chatting late night on here and Siren was a bit miffed she never got to taste any of it (we get our wine from the Sunday Times Wine Club and they always send excellent Reds & Whites you don't find in the shops). So there was a method to my madness, but on reflection I probably shouldn't have put it on here so you can take the piss lol |
