this is to all ladies, single, or in a couple, if a hot guy came up to you in a pub and chatted you up ... would you be highly offended or would you be flattered? Or would you only be flattered if he was in a couple? |

I'm not saying that. I personally hate the word pulling, but hey ho each to their own. I'll say what I'm saying at some point. If I can be arsed. |

No _irtygirl, it's a genuine question. Everyone is over analysing. Just go with the question |

In that case, I don't really understand it. Why would someone ever be offended by being chatted up? Even if you weren't interested, surely it's flattering?

We can all post on anything. I asked a question that's all. A question that most people were thinking.Your question makes no sense...I asked you to explain...you don't want to that is fine...not a problem.
There is a guaranteed way to exclude people from posting on your threads...don't start one. If you do people will respond as they wish...I think that's how it works. |

"Ok love "
I will.
Originally the male doing the pulling was in a couple while pulling pishes at a bar, now the male in the couple has had a quicky, but that would be expected as he pulled pishes in the bar.
It is well known that pishes will nibble on most meaty offerings, therefore simple to catch.
What I want to know is - did the quicky divorce happen before or after pishes got pulled ?
Could be wrong tho, bloody early mornings eh. |

I re-posed the question after that. I couldn't give two hoots if people post on my threads. My point was and has been verified, that women would not be offended if a guy chatted them up in a pub. Quite simply put, why are they so fukin annoyed if a guy chats them up on here.
I'm not looking for a long winded debate. The point was made.
Cheers x |

If a hot guy that was in a couple tried to chat me up in a pub I would wonder just how d*unk/brave he was doing that with his partner around
If a hot single guy tried to chat me up in a pub then I would be flattered

It's not a question of over analysis: your question is poorly worded and those of us with a nodding understanding of the English languge are somewhat confused!

Well others understood it, it would seem. Still unsure why you latch onto the whether the question was or was not badly worded. I wasn't aware this was an English class. In the future I'll remember I'm being graded on my "grasp of the English language". And yes, language, not languge. If you're going to pull someone up on their English, perhaps you should make sure you spell correctly when doing so.

I thought the question was a tad silly why would anyone be offended if some hottie chatted you up in a pub. It would make my day. Put a smile on my face that would. Would I shag him probably not, maybe stranger things have happened lol |

Why people feel the need to pull posts apart just because they either don't like them or they are not clever enough to understand them is beyond me!
I can see what the OP is trying to get at and I think it is a very valid question! If you were in a pub (or anywhere?) and were chatted up by someone, would you be flattered or offended...
The next question was likely to be (given that most would probably say they wouldn't be offended) If it is OK to be chatted up in a pub, then why do women on here get so upset by guys chatting them up on here?
Perhaps some people on here need to get out a little more instead of being keyboard warriors...

I never get upset being chatted up I find it a compliment. Even if I don't like the person.
If a woman was to say she got offended by it then she's got her ass so far up her own ass and thinks she too special to be chatted up |

Would have to disagree there. I was chatted up in my kitchen by the "Yardie" bloke that delivered my Tesco shopping. I didn't feel flattered that he was leaning against my cupboards, looking around my kitchen, asking me if I was single - even though my order states "Mrs" and offering me his mobile number - all within 30 seconds of walking through my front door! |

The second part of your question - would I only be flattered if he was in a couple - no I wouldnt be flattered if he was in a couple I would think cheeky bastard.
I wouldnt be flattered if a common chavvy type bloke, pissed up, staggered over to me and said, you're gorgeous love, fancy going outside - I would say go fuck yourself you idiot |
