Has anyone else came across this after chatting to someone ?.I was chatting last night with somebody then today on there profile said user no longer exists as no SEXID .What does that mean ???? |

SEXID is the database reference to usernames, so when the coding is comiling a web page and it knows a post goes in a particular place on a thread but cannot locate the username that posted it, it displays no SEXID instead. |

Ah ok thanks !,I don't see point in joining then leaving five ten minutes later likes .Yeah I noticed that myself with forums .Another is user is no longer on site then says poster have you came across that yet ?.Obviously same I know just user not upon site any longer .Anyway thanks heaps for comments x |

Their replies stay on the thread after the profile has been deleted.
If there are subsequent posts its because another person has since deleted their profile.
I'm pretty sure that's what it is. |

Mate that happens with mail too.
I get loads and no time to read em all - and i will have a splurge thu -and i will have had a message 2 days ago - and that person has deleted their account.
Maybe its cause they think they will get an instant shag - and when they realiise they cant without putting in any effort they leave.
I dunno.

Yes, the post remains even after you delete your account because it would break the thread if all the posts a user makes are removed when he/she leaves the site. It's simpler to just give the username a common reference such as 'SEXID'. |

No, it won't. 'SEXID' is the name of the column in the database where usernames are stored.
When a web page is called (a link is clicked and a request made to the database for all the relevant info) the part that displays your username will call up the SEXID column in the database for your username, if it can't find one then an error is reported and specific coding that deals with errors is called into play and a catch all 'no SEXID' is displayed.
If you choose the username SEXID then it will simply be stored as plain text in the database and displayed as suck. When you delete the account it won't make the slightest bit of difference anyway except that all your posts will have a 'no' in front of the 'SEXID' bit. Simples, see! |

I totally agree with you .I think most are curious though as to what a seining site is so they join and have a look .Mind you I've met unverified couple times they were sweet it's just the minority I suppose x |
