I'm a granny, although my grandson couldn't say nanna and christened me noona.....I love him to his very bones.
Plus I get to lie on the floor in the department stores and wonder at the lights with him...... great fun, and no-one can cart away the mad old lady without a serious fight from my grandson!!! |

Yep, bought mine a drum kit and a bass guitar and amp so far...and he's just turned four he he he...... feed him chocolate and have trolley races round the supermarket with him, we buy nothing... just race everyone! |

I can't preach really, I had my eldest at 20 but I was married, mortgage, bloody good job and near my parents.
Middle daughter is 20, runs a pub and 200 miles away from me and 140 miles away from my parents. Still, the father is my godson and his mother has been my best friend for 28 years.
She'll get all the grief instead!
Actually, Jason's really excited. He wants a grandson apparently.... summat to do with cars, spanners, bikes, girls and beer ?????????? |

And disappeared from _iew.
It devoured her completely,
The thought just makes me squirm.
She must have caught a virus
Or been eaten by a worm.
I've searched through the recycle bin
and files of every kind:
I've even used the Internet,
but nothing did I find.
In desperation, I asked Jeeves
My searches to refine.

I was a granny at 36 ... nearly died at the prospect and s consequently have a grandchild at secondary school and am not 50 yet.
Refuse to be called granny though - it just screams purple rinses and mothballs. I'm 'nana'

Well, my boy is only 20mos old so no chance of him making me a grandad until I'm at least 61-ish. My daughter is a lot closer to doing it though as she's 13 but I've told her that all boys stink and have funny wart like things that emanate toxic waste. That should do the trick. |

I have been travelling extensively since Friday also.. from my lounge to my kitchen, from there on occasion to the loo, then heading south to bed... up again and on my travels to make a coffee... northward bound and kettle on... detours via the garden to let the dogs out.... and the same on Sunday... and as for Monday... more of the blooming same.xxxxxx

The good thing about being a granny is that you can have fun with them and then when they play up you hand them back hay that would be perfect. If you feel old justthink of all the things that you can do like get them all dirty and you don't have to clean them up lol You really are only as old as you feel and I am the same age as you and I don't feel it I am only as old as the person I am feeling up pmsl. I wish I was a granny but I have not long been a mum so I have that to look forward to. |
