If men had clothes sizes

south london

We have just been looked at by a couple. The seem ok-ish.

Anyway they specify on their profile "no women over size 14"

Nothing wrong with that probably says in words what what a lot of people think.

But if men had clothes sizes to the same system as women, the guy in their pics would have been a size 16 or 18!!!

everyone demands perfection but need to address themselves first.

southampton-ish

so as a larger woman does that mean that I am only allowed to have a preference for a larger man? I don't see someone showing a preference to women sized 14 and under as looking for perfection...it is just that...a preference

Why its what their preference is. They are not saying people looking at their profile should accept them come what may. People have a choice after all and it has nothing to do with perfection or playing the sycophant on here.

suppose we have not been quite complete in what we meant...

If men had a sizing system like women do

which is actually quite definitive

If a girl says "I'm a size 10" or I am size 18 then you sort of know almost exactly what shape to expect...

A man doesn't have the same ( and so possibly doesn't think so much about his weight and shape) saying I have a 34" waist 42" chest inside leg etc etc doesn't quite pass on an idea as well as the women's sizes

not all women have dress sizes on their profile either...but you do have a right to put on your profile that you don't want to meet any men either below or above a certain weight if you wish....it's your profile, your right

I prefer men in size 12 lacy knickers, but I thought it might put a few off...

Bit off topic but we saw a truck today - TK Max and on the back it said 'Does my chassis look big in this?' But the womens dress size idea wouldn't work when it comes to men as you could have 2 at size 18 - one very fit, tall and muscular and the other one a lard arse! Z

A recent full body pic, either on your profile or with first message will solve this issue straight away.

Dress sizes and self descriptions do not always give the correct impression of what or who you will be meeting.

Though have thought why ARE there two different ways of sizing? One for men one for women?
