Anyway, on a serious note, as attractive as she is It seems to make a mockery of investment advice. I mean it is supposed to be a serious subject. The regulators are trying to clamp down on suitable advice, fairness to customers etc. and the Halifax is allowed to promote a product in this stupid way. It is outrageous. I think I will write to the FSA.

wondered how far i was going to have to scroll before I saw a 'common sense' comment!
...although, the acting also extends to how she is dressed and the make up she wears and her hair too. |

It may be a staged advert, but she does actually work for Halifax as they use only their own staff in their ads. As for which department though I don't know so any stalking plans must be put aside for now, lol! |

I think their adverts used to be a lot slicker and the staff involved used to be flown all over, exotic locations, the works.
Understandably when things went a little "tits" they cut back on the budget and tried to create adverts that said "Hey! We're normal people and we make mistakes and do silly things just like you guys".... |

The Halifax ads are the type that make me a) turn the tv off quick b) make loud noises so I can't here. c) look anywhere but at the t.v.

Really? I thought they just looked for some actors willing to look slightly retarded and awkward, and that's fine if it's just acting. If they are really staff, that's even more of a reason to avoid Halifax.
What really pisses me off about those Halifax ads, especially the other one where the special needs lads are playing "Yeah yeah yeah", is the fact there is clearly nothing plugged into the "Output" channels of the audio mixer. How much effort would it have taken to plug in a couple of XLR cables, just to placate pedantic arseholes like me who were CERTAIN to pick up on it straight away? Not much. |

I had to check it out on YouTube as I never watch adverts - that's what Sky+ was invented for.
Anyway, I think she's attractive. She kinda reminds me of Daisy Donovan, who used to be on the 11 O'Clock Show, along with Iain Lee and Ricky Gervais... and Sacha Baron Cohen, iirc.
One of the comments on the YouTube video I watched made me laugh...

We like her and yes for some strange reason it's the haed nodding thing. We also like the blondie on the Halifax ad where the songis 'Oh Lucky You' and the handle comes off her mug, and she spills her tea and it's really funny and.............we'll get our coats!!!!
