If I remember right, it's been going for a couple of years now and was started when there seemed to be a perceived backlash against the larger woman.
At the end of the day, it's held at Chameleons and ANYONE can go. So it doesn't exclude anyone.
It's just that the place is over-run by women who consider themselves BBW's.
If you want to start a night for slimmies, tallies or siamese twins, then it is your perogative. Providing you don't exclude anyone, then it is perfectly acceptable to post it on any site.

why are there "greedy girl" nights....
or
why are there "couples only" nights...
or
why are there "bi" nights.....
or even
why are there "beautiful people" events...
because they cater to peoples "niches" and they are successful in who they appeal to

... but all the nights in question do all pertain to peoples preferences, of which when you read a lot of profiles, that size is one of them..... 
i can see where bbw can feel marginalised, or may feel uncomfortable in clubs, I know that as a larger bloke I do at the best of times.....

just to answer why the BBW night, a very good friend of mine does the BBW night at chams, the reason being was because a lot of bigger ladies she knew wanted to try a club but was scared to because they had this image that all the women there was going to be slim, so bouncy who does the BBW night suggested doing it so first time bigger girls could go there and feel comfy, have a look round and hopefully feel more confident to go on 'normal' nights, thats the only reason she started it, just so first time big girls did'nt feel like they was going to be the only over weight women in the club, they have worked quite well upto now some ladies can be big and confident but no all are and it was just to help them |

I'm not sure if I would be classed as bbw or not being size 16, but I've been to loads of the bbw nights as a lot of the people I enjoy being around go to them and I always have a fab night.
The fact is they work and are very well run, so as someone else said... long may they reign!!!! |

A vague overview would be that you have to put your name down when you see it advertised on the forum. Once there at the venue quote your forum name and they will apply a discount. It's usually discounted to £10 for couples I think, £20 for single guys and £5 for single ladies, this also includes a finger buffet and you don't have to be a member of the club on that occassion.
It's a great opportunity to try the club out without investing a lump sum of money and as a lot of us have already said, there is a great atmosphere. This is usually (I believe) held in conjunction with another well known site with the same theme.
It is best to get there early if you can as the place soon fills up and it's nice to be able to get your bearings before the place swarms, plus parking can get a bit tricky when it is busy and if you can park close by you know your vehicle is well looked after by the car park staff.
