Started when I woke up at 4.15am with migraine. Kids got up and decided to throw rice krispies round the kitchen. Then one of them left the tap on in the bathroom with the plug in the sink. Then discoverd the toilet is blocked.
Spotted a wet patch on my bedroom ceiling so there is a leak in the roof. All this before 8.30am.
Walked the kids to school. Got back to discover some C**T has broken into the garage roof and stolen the kids bikes and my spare wheel has been nicked from under the car.
By this time is is still only 9.45am. Am now so stressed that my IBS has flared up it was not good anyway and stress has made it worse. ( not good when the toilet is blocked).
So made the necessary calls I needed to make. Got in the car and headed for my mum's to wait for her washing machine to be delivered. Washing machine is delivered and headed home.
Up to my bedroom to find that the wet patch of ceiling is now on top of my dressing table with a nice smashed mirror.
Decided that the safest thing was for me to sleep the afternoon away so nothing else could go wrong.
Picked the kids up from school and they have done nothing but argue and fight since they got home.
They are all going to bed early tonight as punishment for their behaviour this morning. I think I may go to bed when they do. At least that way this day will be over.
Hope everyone had a better day than I did. |

Am hoping that the garage roof and leeky ceiling are covered by your insurance, then you can get your bedroom refurbished, maybe make it tranquil-your space, to have a little peace and quiet from the kids xxx |

Thats the plan. The kids are now in bed. I am going to take a bottle of wine and a movie to bed and just chill.

Its up to the landlord to pay for it, and pay he will. |
