As some of you will know, its nearly a year since Alfie died, as sooooo many of you helped me with his headstone i thought it was about time you had a update, i went today and paid for it. it will be put up in about 14 weeks paperwork and some stuff?? i dont know how i can show u a pic of it???
anyway here is what it is like
its a black granit arch like headstone, with a smaller arch cut out at one side with a little teddy sitting in the small arch..
the wording is going to be..
Alfie- Joe **********
8.5.2009 - 15.09.2009

It doesn't have to say much; it just has to say the right thing. It does that perfectly.
Belated condolences on your loss. |

_aughty_kitty,
Simple wording thats means everything, it's a perfect tribute.
I've never chatted with you, but now am feeling your pain.
Your a strong person to share this with us.
I'd like to share something:
"An Angel in the book of life wrote down my baby's birth and
whispered as she closed the book "too beautiful for earth"

Yr loss is unimaginable for so many, including us, but sounds like you are coming to terms with yr grief and taking steps to move on
You won't forget him, and nor should you, but you have to rebuild yr life as so many new adventures out there for you that you should enjoy (and dont mean swinging adventures) |

Hey Kitty Babe
Just had a look at the pic, that will look lovely in black. As for the words, both of us sat here with large lumps in out throats!
Having been through the whole term "with" you and through your ordeal at the hospital after Alfie was born, we felt we had lost our little angel to when he was taken from you.
Stay strong hunny

I cannot even begin to imagine what you've been through and as an earlier post said it was very brave of you to share it in the forum.
I wish you my heart felt condolences and I hope your beautiful tribute to your son will bring you great comfort.
My thoughts are with you
