2nd Shooting this norning in France

Mirror online reports that two police officers have been injured after coming under attack from armed masked men wearing back packs. The officers were responding to an incident when the attack happened. One of the officers is in a critical condition.

 not good. You hear things like this and you think it's so close to home.It almost makes me feel that I'm waiting for something to happen over here but I can't think like that as it just means the enemy has won..Hope the officer makes a full recovery |

Such a sad situation...
And they can't call themselves Muslims....their extremists claiming to be of faith when clearly there not
Im atheist so have no links to any religion but I'm pretty sure none condone the killing of innocent people |

And one of the unfortunate officera shot yesterday was Muslim..so claiming it's avenging the prophet Muhammed and the shooting a good Muslim just makes no sense |

I've never been one for praising the Police but they have stopped this sort of thing happening and much worse to OUR innocents by making countless arrests almost every single week on our shores n for those of you that defend Islam take a look what they been doing to migrant workers in Saudi Arabia coz they had a Bible in their bag (if you've got a very strong stomach that is!), and they are OUR friends suppossedly!!! Breaks my Heart whats happening to Out French Cousins but I'm afraid my sorrow (I got tears running down my face here watching the news!) will turn to anger n rage if it keeps on happening I'm sorry folks! .....R.I.P. Muslim Public Affairs Committee spokesperson Asghar Bukhari on Sly News now saying the cartoons should not be shown and although he doesn't support the murder of the journalists they shouldn't have shown the cartoon.
He says free speech, when it comes to Islam, should have limits.
Poll suggests majority of British Muslims think graphical detection of the prophet, and/or satire of Islam should be a criminal offence. Poll conducted after Danish cartoon fiasco so historic.
So yes, the gunmen are an extreme minority, however, there is a sliding scale or spectrum of sympathy or justification for what they did.
There should be a without conditions condemnation. We live in the west, here we have freedom of speech. If you don't like it there are countries where there isn't freedom of expression and moreover Sharia courts. If that is more compatible with your belief system up sticks and go. Good luck with no benefits system and no NHS though. |
