There is also a male mod and a another couple mod where the male half mods the forums, they just don't talk as much as us lot

Ok, but to me and possibly others too it seems like it does with this thread, but that could just be my own observation! "Yes I can see how it would appear that way to you and others, by the questions asked in reply. questions from people that simply read far too much into what I had said, unfortunately I have no control over the way a post progresses. in the beginning I tried answering any questions put to me. I immediately stated that the sex, gender or ethnicity was of no importance to me. Maybe the way in which I tried to answer the questions asked, caused others concern, this lead to my mental health and forum suitability being question, by my lack of profile information. I have been reading the forums for sometime and have seen on many occasions that a repeat forum thread can cause disruption, I attempted to avoid this with my post, which I also stated earlier in the thread. Eventually an answer was forthcoming, provided by honeypotcouple, This I read as, admin are happy with the number of moderators the forums have, and that they will approach whoever they wish when the need arises. Glad that I made the post as some people managed to learn something new today. | |||

I certainly was not trying to suggest that this sites moderators were anything other than moderators, I found it quite easy to identify two of the mods by their comments and explanations for closed threads. The others, ‘the quiet ones’, that Rugby mentioned came as a partial surprise to me as I seem to remember that DL (chat room mods) also occasionally visit the forums. I didn’t realise that they had joint powers though, and I’m not certain if DL are those referred to. The single male moderator is still a mystery to me and it would appear to others too, especially those above that have posted, as this was never mentioned until much later. A quick answer from those replying to my original question pointing out that I was in fact mistaken, may have brought a quick end to my simple inquiry and saved us all time. | |||

Honeypotcouple did mention admin ,in as far as admin are around and ready to step in should the need arise but, I would have thought that admin can and do step in anywhere they wish or feel they need to, whenever they want to, as they are administration. Your own fuller explanation came much further down the thread, after I had stated that my post was no more than a simple question that I felt had not been asked previously by others, and that gender, sex etc was of no importance to myself. Of course I was also curious as to whether others may have had a view towards my observation otherwise I wouldn’t have asked - they clearly do not. Should a similar answer have been made sooner, what followed with people going round in circles asking the same question with a few unwarranted comments, may have been avoided. As my last comment on this thread, I would like to say ‘ Hello single male watching above, we now know that you are there’ lol.

"I did answer you crack The most active mods are still HPC and us, but as HPC said and I have said, there are others lurking ( i don't know how much) but as they don't speak much thats why you won't notice them. The reason others didn't answer you is they probably didn't realise there were more mods either. There is also Admin itself who step in when needed. "Admin don't ask permission and nor would they be expected to, but they leave the forums to the mods who they trust to mod them for them so they can get on with other site issues....hence they step in when needed plus answer questions in the feedback and site help section. You still seem to have an obsession with single male mods, they mod the exact same way as any other mod, so it won't matter what sex they are. | |||
