It all depends on how much you have to spend and what kind you want. Point and shoot, bridge camera with a zoom lens or a full SLR with interchangeable lenses.
We've used all sorts for our photo gallery, using timers and creative posing you can produce good results with a camera phone |

Probably a higher end point n shoot or a bridge camera then. There's probably better knowledge than mine on those sorts as I use DSLR's for studio type shooting |

The lower end of the Canon EOS SLR range is a good buy as are the Lumix bridge cameras. We don't think the latter have remote or Wifi for tethered shooting although they do have self timers, We use a Canon for the pics on our profile. |
