Canabis was re-classified in the UK
It is now back to being a CLASS 'B' CONTROLLED DRUG
Unlike other class B drugs there are different penalities for being found with canabis.
In Wales and Scotland those found with canabis may be arrested and charged and possibly prosecuted for thier first offence.
In England your first offence will get you a warning (these warnings are recorded and may affect future job applications etc)
your second offence will get you an immediate fixed penalty fine
your third offence will lead to prosecution. |

Scientists/Doctors have found that amongst obese people are 3 times more likely to be carrying a certain strain of flu virus and believe that this virus may be the cause of thier obesity.
Personally (with no qualifications) I wonder if those who are obese are more likely to be prone to that particular strain of the flu virus ? I mean to the layman isn't that just as likely ?
Oh this isn't for or against obesity and I have no wish to discuss the pros and cons of obesity I am simply passing on some of the news items of the week for those who missed them. |

Both Sandie and I, spent a great Saturday night at a fancy dress party, both of us dressed as Amy Winehouse - now that was interesting

We'll post a couple of us dressed up soon Kitty. To be honest I looked just a litle bit camp, but on stage doing karaoke, I looked just like the Winehouse, or maybe just a wino ? |

Hey, we had a baby scan too! - one of them 4D-scans that show you what the baby actually looks like - and the woman doing the scan said there's no doubt about it, he's DEF a boy, look at the size of his todger!! (a future swinger in the making there methinks hehehe) |

ohhhhhh a future little wishy, when i was pregnant they didnt even give you a copy of the scan but i got one. I put it in my sons photo album i did him for his 18th.

Did they have scans back then diamond thought they made do with cutting open a sacrifice and reading the entrails it was ok for us - you posh folk on here with your computers and tea makers what is the world coming too - back in my day .... |

Nowt exciting to report from this end - I've been too poorly to get up to any mischief, I even missed a beer festival in Cambridge.
Hope you had a good week whilst you were absent from here. I have been tipped off on MSN about a relatively local social in may so am off to investigate.
