It still makes me chuckle when the meerkat shakes his head and shouts "dont even sound same!!"
BUT - it was only this weekend that i found that the meerkat website really DOES exist!!!

Ok. No offense but you do realise that compare the meerkat, despite being a genuine website, isn't actually run by meerkats but is just a clever marketting ploy?
I love the pot noodle ads. And the old snickers one with the american football player, if anyone remembers it! |

I have a claim to fame with the Meerkat advert.
My future son-in-law invented it.
He's a computer hardware designer and came up with Alexander the Meerkat when he was working for Compare the Market . com.
I'm trying to get my mitts on the 8ft Alexander he has by his desk, his thank you from Comparethemarket (tight gits), but he ain't letting me have it. |

I just looked up the brighthouse ad and the first one I got was 3 young kids EWWWWwwww.
Then i found the TV one, he looks pretty good.....Does he do windscreens too, lol |
