I wore Dexy's Midnight runners type dungarees for casual wear and had mad hair that was styled up the way and tied with bandanas, but powersuits with big shoulders and hair that was dyed, wide and swept to the side for work.
I also gave birth to my kids in the 80's, so happy days. xxxx |

music maybe?
Dallas Dynasty and Shoulder Pads
Sue Ellen you are a d*unk and an unift mother"
OMG the only soap I ever watched and it was only cos I was a student at the time and we had to do a research project - I do remember the shoulder pads, they would make your waist look slim no matter what you had eaten... |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
I was a teenager, so it was ludicrously tight jeans and dayglo socks for me.
CB radio I missed out on, but iknowing how odd some of the lingo was, I'd be fascinated to find out how the conversation that gets one a shag would have gone! |

i was a mere child in the 80's and so any dodgy clothing choices were my parents doing - and there were some dodgy ones let me tell you!!!
i do remember the craze for those bracelets that you slapped round your wrist to put them on, keepers, shoes that had secret keys in them etc |

Skodas were still shit back then as well! I remember the joke "Why do Skoda's have heated rear windscreens? To keep your hands warm as you're pushing them".
I went from being a small child to early teen in the 80's so it always seems like a magical time for me... |
