I've realised we could save so much time answering to the unsuccesful single men that complain on the forum if only we were a little more considerate on our profiles. SO! I thought about 'the perfect profile':
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me (fuck it, bring your dog sheep and cattle too),
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
Now, we can't be more all-encompassing than that! (though I'm sure some chap will prove me wrong) |

"Oh, and you must have a tongue like a lizard, dislike football, and know everything there is to know about No.7 (If you ask what that is you're binned)" |
