Vinyl???? What about Shellac??? The Ballad of Robin Hood bought for the family to play on out wind up gramaphone at a jumble sale in about 1960... Evidently I was very small cos I don't remember it!.

The Gramaphone was broken within weeks and Dad went out and bought a "Dansette" record player along with a song about a bubble car? My sister still has that early Vinyl..

I hate to admit it but I was a kid at the time. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the Movie" album. My first vynl single might have been the Time Warp by Damian although I'm not sure and I do remember being one of the one's that kept "Everything I do (I do it for you)" at the no. 1 spot for those thirteen weeks

I have to confess I bought a Kylie/Kylie and Jason shortly afterwards too so not all so good. Perfect example of a woman getting so much better with age. Yum.
