..And so endeth his swinging lifestyle, all on the back of one admission to actually buying a Jason Donovan cassette! Tsk, if only he'd said he'd nicked it by mistake, that could have been forgivable. Poor man, he will be missed. |

Vinyl???? What about Shellac??? The Ballad of Robin Hood bought for the family to play on out wind up gramaphone at a jumble sale in about 1960... Evidently I was very small cos I don't remember it!.
The Gramaphone was broken within weeks and Dad went out and bought a "Dansette" record player along with a song about a bubble car? My sister still has that early Vinyl.. |

I hate to admit it but I was a kid at the time. "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles the Movie" album. My first vynl single might have been the Time Warp by Damian although I'm not sure and I do remember being one of the one's that kept "Everything I do (I do it for you)" at the no. 1 spot for those thirteen weeks |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
Honest version...
Single - Glory Glory Man Utd, by the 1983 FA Cup Squad.
Album - The Visitors by ABBA
Tape - Born In The USA by Springsteen
CD - A Kind Of Magic by Queen
Those are in order, so I'm claiming that my tastes improved! |

Now that's what I call music were my first tapes - those awkward tape holders.
I have to confess I bought a Kylie/Kylie and Jason shortly afterwards too so not all so good. Perfect example of a woman getting so much better with age. Yum. |

"David Bowie - Absolute beginners
Prince - Around the world in 80 days
That Oasis set sounds damn good. Enjoy - windows open, volume up a bit. Got to love the warmth of vinyl and the odd crackle.
"
Don't be daft, I don't actually play it, that's what I buy cds for
I also have all the 1st 3 Oasis albums on vinyl, unplayed, still in the cellophane.....kind've like an investment |

I love my record player and got some original J Michel Jarre, Pink Floyd (with splif burns in covers) but not as convenient as CDs or iPOD. I meant Around the world in a day (it's Prince not Phileas bloody Fogg)
Champagne Supernova - my personal Oasis fav BTW. Yours? |

L.P. Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band ( second hand, may i add )
Highly original for it's day, pushing the boundaries of the then level of technology, ( 4 track? jeez )but i sure as hell can't work it why it is consistently voted no. 1 album of all time. |
