Guys I have a friend who is into body building. She has a problem getting men to sleep with here she says . Now this surprised me a little as I have always thought men are not that fussy with where they put it. I am wondering though are men intimidated by a woman who is more muscular than they are? |

"dont have a problem with a lady with defined muscles.
it's probably a guy who has taken too many anabolics and his nuts have shrunk and formed labia's. "
I will send her your way. She has found many men are put off by them since she bulked up last year. |

"I don't find it attractive at all however a BBW....mmmmmmmm lol
Your not the first to say that, but why do men think like that?"
Well i am not going to be with someone i don't wish to be with. I have my preferences.
Am sure you have your preferences of what kind of men you would like to meet?? |

Well that's commendable if correct. I for one look to see who has been with who on here before i decide to meet.
Yes it is some what of a generalisation. However would you say that the majority of men are fussy or do many take what they can get?

"Pmsl, damn well hope the men i go with are fussy where they put it. I dont know anyone (thankfully) that believes any hole is a goal."
Try putting a profile up with no pictures, little details and go on meet today and see how many will offer to come round immediately without asking for pictures or anything. |

Am sorry but, with all due respect, am not into this domme thing you seem to want to push on all us males on the forums and I have my own opinions, standards and answers to questions that I express truthfully!
Every person is different and I for one won't use sweeping generalisations against either sex, so what other males do or "put it" is none of my business! |

Women with muscles are sought after just like women with none
My best friend attends exercise classes every day and gets hit on every day despite being happily married and definately not looking
and many men (not all) think every hole is a goal, they just don't advertise the fact
otherwise they wouldn't get a fuck now would they? "

Unfortunately the thread got pulled off topic as i was originally asking why there seems to be a reluctance by men to sleep with muscular women. |

Your right there are some women like that and you might get slated for putting it but that would be unfair as your speaking the truth.
I find it perplexing at times how the "shag or not" switch in peoples heads works. |

Threads get pulled off topic all the time and it is usually when someone says something that the OP disagrees with within their reply about the original topic.
The OPs (of many threads) then usually comes back with something even further off topic, usually something against the person that has disagreed with them, but that's the nature of the forums and I doubt very much it will ever change seeing as we are all different and are entitled to have our own views! |

I personally adore women with muscles!! From a sexual perspective, I find it incredibly attractive and from a person who also trains perspective, I have a huge amount of respect for them.
If she has a profile, PM me, I would love to see her!

I am not totally disagreeing wih you as you put some valid pints. As for going off topic well it happens on most sights so its not a surprise or a problem. I would rather have a "warm debate" above a wishy washy one any day of the week. Its the only way you understand others real feelings and points of view opposed to ones they perceive are more publicly acceptable. |

I cannot speak for men in general, however, the blokes in the gym where I go (and I do weight training myself but I am not a bodybuilder) more or less state the same thing :They like a woman to be womanly - whatever that means to them individually. They do not appear too keen on extremely muscular woman for they feel they are almost sleeping with another bloke (I am only quoting) xx |

I concur with this. I go to the gym regularly myself, and I've seen some absolutely stunning women there. For me, however, what defines whether a woman appears 'womanly' or not isn't the size of her biceps and triceps, but it's down to the size of her breasts.
I fully appreciate that this is an incredibly fickle thing to say, but hey-ho |

And sadly, with the real hard-core" lady bodybuilders they lose most of their attractive breast tissue and become quite masculine looking. |

I personally think it's because some don't see bulked up muscles as feminine.
To me, personally, I hate bulked up muscles on anyone.... they do nothing for me and I personally think they look ugly.
Maybe, some men can't see past the muscles to the feminine person underneath? |

If I really wanted a woman with muscles, I'd go for a man instead.
It turns me off big style, in fact I'm replused by it.
Nothing wrong with keeping in shape, but muscles on a woman - no thanks.
By the same token though i don't think there's anything wrong with a guy keeping himself in shape, but when he walks like his balls are trailing the ground and he is carring 2 carpets under his arms - sorry, but all I see is a total wanker |

Thats the trouble, men who go to a gym once and suddenly feel they cant put their arms flat against their sides as they are now too huuuuge!! Its referred to as ILS (invisible lats syndrome) - they walk like they have huge muscles, whereas everyone else is looking at the gap under their arm wondering where the carpet is!! |

Granted some go to extremes when they reduce body fat but they don't look ripped like that all the time, far from it. Is it an intimidation thing or what? As a bi couple it would be interesting to see things from your point of view as i am assuming you like muscular men?? sorry if i am wrong on that point. |

Thats a REALLY good point!! The public generally see bodybuilders when they are competition mode - all fat stripped off and incredibly lean. That isnt how the majority of them spend the rest of the year - and obviously when a female bodybuilder isnt stripped of her fat she will still have breasts! |

As a former British and European competitor in Body Building and Strong Woman contests I found, when I was muscular, two main reactions from men.
For the most part the reactions often depended on how the men looked or perceived themselves.
Many muscular men like the way muscular, toned women look, whereas guys who are either skinny or in bad shape usually don't.
There are exceptions such as the thin "y" type who like to be dominated of course.
On the other hand you have the d*unken slobby type who think we'd be interested in their opinions but still feel they have to give them, even though we're not.
Most of them are intimidated by such women because they have the physical and mental fortitude to get themselves into that condition, these guys don't and that's what pisses them off.
It shows up their shortcomings, even more so when its a woman doing something they can't.
As for it being lady like or not,I've known many "muscle" women who are feminine and lady like.
I've also met lots of women who haven't lifted a weight or been in a gym but are as feminine or lady like as Brian Blessed.
As with many human characteristics, its all down to the individual. T

"As a former British and European competitor in Body Building and Strong Woman contests I found, when I was muscular, two main reactions from men.

I'm neither - I'm a more middle of the road kind of guy, but I still find muscular woman repugnant .....
Not because of any kind of inferiority complex despite what you intimate, in fact quite the contrary, I have nothing to prove, however in my opinion, men and woman who have to bulk themselves up in an unatural way, must feel inferior and downtroddan and have a point to make or someone to impress. You all seem to have something to prove, something lacking in childhood days ? I'm no Phsycologist ..
Be who you are, what you are but dont try to be something you're not.
Muscles aint the be all and end all of life
Despite what the 'body beautiful' may think - we don't all love you and the sooner the better you get it through your musclebound heads, the better and maybe you can move on and try to impress us lesser mortals with something more original
And also don't forget - when the training all comes to an end - the muscle turns to fat and saggy flab just like the rest of us ..
Then who's impressed with a 'has been' .... ? |

We have beenb reading this thread and having a bit of a giggle.
My friend here says that he wouldnt particualy go for a muscle woman, but does like them fir or slim or slightly podgy like me, hehehehe
I asked him why - he said its just nt his cuppa tea. Not something that attracts.
And if she was so obsessed with keeping herself in shape she prob wouldnt go for him anyway (he has a little beer belly thats lovely to bounce on ).
I dont got for bulked up men - but men with defined muscles is very sexy...phwarrrgh x |

The reason I started body building was because I come from a family with the propensity to be fat.
We only have to walk past Greggs to put on a stone.
So,as I didn't want to go down that road I became bulimic.
Ric used to train a lot at that time and told me the only way to be the way I wanted was to train, which I began doing.
I was happier with the way I started to look and one thing led to another.
Contrary to popular belief, body builders do not consider themselves "Body Beautiful", which is a media term, and are constantly seeking to improve themselves.
Its a type of dysmorphia.
It always amazes me that people feel free to call us "repugnant" and unnatural etc.
Yet it is no more unnatural to be muscular than to be fat,all be it a lot harder to achieve.
However we'd never dream of calling fat people repugnant, even though its not our thing.T

Oh and muscle turning to fat is a physical impossibility, much the same way as bone can't turn to fat.
Its another myth, along with us trying to impress so called lesser mortals......like we care what they think!
What causes some ex body builders to become overweight is that they keep eating the same amount that they did when they trained without using the calories up.T

Well Trace - we can honestly say you are NOT repugnant!!!!
Again its general terminology for the heavy muscular bound women on the contests on the telly.
Big beefy muscles with veins popping out all over the shop is even to me, never mind my friend, not something we personally find attractive.
I have seen many women at the gym who do have muscles - but not over the top- and that is very sexy |

Awww thanks Debz,I would have loved to have been bigger than I was when competing but was always on the border between the Physique class and Trained Figure (which I competed in)but still got grief for that.
Now I'm just what you'd call toned but at least I can say "Been there done that!". T

No you definitely dont come across as a a psychologist, but you do come across as an ignorant person who happily jumps to conclusions! How about people maybe just enjoy training and the positive feeling it gives them?
"
Be who you are, what you are but dont try to be something you're not.
"
Um, how about it is being who they are - just because you arent interested in muscles, doesnt in any way mean that someone who is happens to be false!!
"
Despite what the 'body beautiful' may think - we don't all love you and the sooner the better you get it through your musclebound heads, the better and maybe you can move on and try to impress us lesser mortals with something more original
"
Actually, the more you post the more you come across as someone who has issues rather than people who train in order to get muscles. You really seem to be hung up on anyone with muscles.. do you have an inferiority complex by any chance??
"
And also don't forget - when the training all comes to an end - the muscle turns to fat and saggy flab just like the rest of us ..
"
And here you perfectly highlight how ignorant you are - maybe if you even had 1% knowledge of the subject you are being critical about, then you would be fully aware that muscle and fat are two completely different things and one can NEVER turn into the other. My god, I would have thought that in modern life people would have at least a rudimentary understanding of this.. but then again, if you understood the facts you wouldnt be able to use your argument!
"
Then who's impressed with a 'has been' .... ?"
Personally, I would rather look back and be a 'has been' than look back and realise that (as in your case) I had always been a 'never ever will be'.

As an ex boxer and MMA cage fighter I find toned women a turn on.
Check I said the word toned.
Respect to anyone who has the motivation to put themselves through the strict regime to train that hard.
I am approaching 50 and no longer train 6 days a week, I've got it down to 3.
Not so keen in the hard core body builder body of either male of female but thats just the mentality I have as a fighter as bulk slows you down.
A well toned physique in either sex is extremely hot, and the regime to get there is hard and the Op's friend has my respect.
Trace checked out your profile pics, and I am impressed, you do not need to improve on that.
My thoughts........ |

Someone sent me a meme on Facebook last week "If your first reaction is 'she's too muscular for me', then you need to lift more Bro."
Kind of summed it up for me, although I haven't trained for a couple of months due to injury. |

Well defined muscles on a woman can be gorgeous IF she's able to do it whilst maintaining the feminine look of her overall figure. When you get women bodybuilders who add so much muscle that their bodies heave under the mass of it and their faces start to look male then no. |

"Guys I have a friend who is into body building. She has a problem getting men to sleep with here she says . Now this surprised me a little as I have always thought men are not that fussy with where they put it. I am wondering though are men intimidated by a woman who is more muscular than they are?"
Personally I find it hot, I do like something about a strong dominant women, and it shows by the effort that they put in, soo sexy. |

I know I am here as a CD.
Toned women look amazing, bulked up women sadly lose their feminine looks that is what puts some men off.
Also heard rumours that depending what supplements she has used, her clitoris could be bigger than some men's cocks. That could scare a man for life lol. |

Personally, I think if a woman can pull off having muscles and still look feminine then it's all good with me. And hey who knows, maybe I could find a lass able to restrain me when I say no. |
