WHY is this forum full of people who dont actually put the subject title in the subject title, it does my head in, i avoid so many threads purely because of the laziness people put into using a proper title which is actually relative to the topic the was to discuss.

"I see what you mean. It's a bit like puttinh 'Why' in the subject title instead of 'Why dont people put the subject title in the subject title'.
LMAO "
Is anyone else thinking of the Little Britain sketch where David Walliams is the school teacher who gets out of bed to correct his wife's grammatical errors with the aid of blackboard and chalk? |

Because maybe the subject title would be too long to fit in the box, for example this thread would have to be called
"WHY is this forum full of people who dont actually put the subject title in the subject title"
But apart from that, the forum is supposed to be fun and not a lesson on gramatical correctness, so maybe that's the reason, after all, most of us are not writing a column in the Times are we ? |

"Lol i just reads all the threads in case i miss summat
Easy really xx "
Could you offer your erudite skills to some single males and couples who just seem to be able to look at the pictures and never actually read - you could be our last hope the chances of them reading this are nearly zero |

"Damn it
I thought this thread was gonna be about why does toast always land butter side down
Thats 2 minutes of life ill never get back "
Its because butter has a higher iron content (ferrous oxide) and is attracted by gravity to the core of the earth by magnetism. So if the other forces (wind resistance, ambient air temperature etc are equal then gravitic effects on the iron content of butter take over )
Or it could be you only remember the times it lands butter side down

yes one person noticed my post is tongue in cheek, i deliberately used the 'why' title to take the piss
i have been a regular user of forums for 10 years now and to get the best help or people to read my posts i try and get the title right, just like trying to advertise something, you dont go on ebay and put up a listing with 'car' in the title you would tend to put make & model & engine etc.
IE be specific FFS |

"But sometimes it makes a nice surprise or sometimes a what the f*** was all that about surprise when the subject had bugger all to do with the title don't you think?"
no, as you may have noticed there is some amount of dross posted on here but also some good interesting things too, i have better things to do than open every post. |

Maybe we'll have a special section just for those who have better things to do than open every post.
FFS this site is meant to be a bit of fun - it's picky pick threads like this that really piss me off |

Well, I guess I'm responsible for some of the recent "dross" posted here, but I really dont give a shit if anybody reads them or not!!
I treat the forums as a bit of fun to brighten up my day. Most of you guys join in the right spirit, and at times I hope you are chuckling along with me.
Have to admit though, some of the titles leave even the likes of me a little baffled, but thats one of the things I like about being active in here.
Think Im gonna try an think of an obsure subject title, and then write about something completely different |
