In October we are hoping to go to Butlins in Skegness to an adult weekend .....
The reason ?
To celebrate Sandie's 5th year free from Breast Cancer - all clear .. 
Would anyone else be interested in coming, maybe make it into a Fabs social ?
Yes it's early days, but we will be there - dates etc to be confirmed.
The only thing set in stone is the venue - Skegness.
Been loads of times, it is a brilliant weekend |

We'll keep you all posted, deffo October, Definately Skeggy, and it's fancy dress .;-)
The theme for October is, "Disco Inferno" or "80's Madness" (2 different weekends) - but you can go dressed as anything you like lol, we've seen Hitler, The Queen, Freddy Mercury (me lol)Schoolgirl, Amy Winehouse (Sandie & Me :-;) and many more .. it's a ball |

Date: 1st Oct 2010
Venue: Skegness Butlins
Theme: Disco Inferno
Pleeeeeeeez as many as possible come to this weekend - it'll be brilliant
Message us to confirm when ya booked (can be done online)
Site rules prevent us from posting the web addy, but if you Google, Butlins Big Weekends, you'll get it from there and all the various options for accomodation etc.

Hi, I just PM'ed you to ask if it is for the entire weekend as in 3 nights please!
And please advise what do people do with regard to food in the evening, eat in or go out etc...?
I would probably prefer to eat in, so that I can drink!

Remember rooms can be shared, so singles if you have friends who'd like to come along, bigger apartments are available and can be shared, thus reducing the costs .. |

Book in is Friday, 3pm onwards, the main night does tend to be Saturday, although there is entertainment for those who want it, Fri, Sat and Sunday.
We've known people arrive on Saturday and leave on Sunday afternoon in time for work on Monday, it's really up to the individual which way they want to do it |

Anyone can come - there are no restrictions to who, or how many, single, couples - no problem either way.
This will be a fun weekend and thats what it's all about - having a drink or 3 and a laugh.
All we ask is anyone who actually books, just send us you names in a pm so we can add you to the list, that way nearer the time we'll all know who is going to be there |

lol how odd is this literally just booked ourselves in to butlins for the 80's weekend on the 8th of october..... we will give you a tip book throu a private site not throu butlins coz it works out a lot cheaper |

It's worth noting that the caravans are quite a walk away from the main complex though, and they are also self catering.
It's only cost us £190 (for 2) which includes dinner, bed and brekky, and into the bargain, the apartments are right on the doorstep, so not too far to wander.
But your right, the caravan is a bit cheaper, but weigh up the price of your food, and the extra distance to walk, booking through Butlins and staying on site, is a better option in our opinion.

No Problem, o1dking, have a look at the 'Butlins Big Weekend' site (I won't put up the link, cos it aint allowed on the forums) all the info is on there.

Date: 1st October 2010
Theme: Disco Inferno
We've done a few of these weekends, once with swingers, other times friends and the Kids - when I say kids, the youngest is 22 lol
Excellent weekend, great value for money, and best of all, there is never any aggro |

She's going as a saloon girl / burleque on Saturday and on Sunday it's Amy Winehoue (Already have the amy stuff from last time )
And Bob, will be Freddy Mercury one night and Amy Winehouse on the other night
