hi people did anyone else notice that it is the same people on the forums all the time out of all the profiles on here only a few regularly post on the forums not that we are complaining the forums are great fun we are kinda new here too so cum on dont be shy people try it post something on here |

It's true that there are a number of regulars who frequent the forums.
However, we were all newbies once.
Try attending a social or two, as quite a few regulars attend such events, and you'd get to know them too.  |

The forums are a great place to make new friends and keep in touch with old ones.
I know there are lots of people out there that read but seldom if ever post, as has been said we were all newbies on here once, and i for one found it a great way to make friends............... try it you may like it  xxx Raz xxx |

you could also say the same for the chat rooms, though those that post may appear not to change much one will notice that there are a large number of couples who post alot, and it could be one or both who are posting under a single profile, then of course theres the lurker's those who read the forums but seldom if ever post, same can be said for the chat rooms some people may log into those but never actually interact with those in there, it takes alsorts to make a world and swinging is no different  |

we have been members here for nearly 2yrs but have only recently been contributing to the forums. We have tried the chat rooms too, but the conversation is too spasmodic and too quick for a thick bugger like me to join in. For the time being we are enjoying the forums, but we really just stumbled across them |

Probably qualify as an occasional poster
But as a consequence of posting on here, had a great holiday this year with a lovely lady for company (and no we're not BI - just as mates), and getting to know some other great people!!
Like anything else in the world the more you put in the more you get out |

I don’t think they are if you care to look back. Over the last 12 months there has been an influx of new people. (744threads this jan so far compared to only 46 in the whole of January 09) Some stop on weeks, some months and some for good. Yes there is probably a third who are very regular here but there are many who pop in and out every few weeks or so. It brings welcome added input I think which is always good. |

Not really. A lot of people read these posts and don't contribute for whatever reason.
I know that it took me a while before I contributed as I'd read a thread be about to join in when the thread turned into a love in amongst certain members. It then seemed rude to interupt !!
I'd say to those lurkers out there to jump in and add your thoughts: the more the merrier !! |

I think one time the website owners said only 0.5% of people on the website use the forums. There loss lol the forums are great. |

forums for me is better than chat
as i find a lot more good topics than you very rare get in chat
i post about that interested me an for others
plus if you need help or advice theirs always some 1 to answer it

if this site had stats on profiles on the number of forum posts made (as seen elsewhere) then surly there would be a hard core of peeps at the top of the list .. but hey if you have an opinion then state it - it is after all (a) a free country, and (b) a free site
and even if yr opinion is not conformist to that of the majority there is free discussion and debate as to why you are wrong

Mainly for convenience and the fact many already attend. Well that and the fact there is some privacy there without cameras etc.
Saying that the ones in Barnsley are top draw held in a swingers friendly pub on a closed night so people can relax. |

Facilities are there already, like bars, food, jacuzzi, sauna, playrooms, showers, lockers etc...
They are public places with bouncers and staff that will look after the attendees if there are any troubles like unwanted persistent attentions
No tidying up the morning after
... to name a few!

In fact, a lot of peeps just sat around in groups to discuss everything under the sun without playing at all! Great fun!
That's the good thing about having them at clubs. If you do meet someone that tickles your fancy, you can just disappear and play in one of the rooms! |

In fact, a lot of peeps just sat around in groups to discuss everything under the sun without playing at all! Great fun!

Well add to your list the socials planned in Manchester in Feb and another in Newcastle in late April - both being held in public venues - just purely social gatherings for the purpose of peeps getting to know new friends and cementing online friendships
The newcastle one late last year was a blast.. and though sadly we cant make the next ; it will surely be even better |

Yep the northern ones are pretty good and yep the social side is what a lot want. Others are getting together with people they have chatted with from out of their normal area. Never any pressure to play though i have found. But its nice for some to be able to do so if they choose. At other times its great to get out and about with a group. Think the fact that you can do both at different socials is a winner all round for everyone. |
