i once saw Tony from Hollyoaks in a service station on the M40 though that maybe a tenuous celebrity claim lol
ooh ooh ohh, and the lead singer from Ocean Colour Scene (Simon Fowler) lives in a village near me - my ex used to work in his local where he used to do sing the odd song etc for 'chariddy' |

I once had a wee next to Fish (out of Marillion) at a John Otway gig. And the last time I flew from Malaga to the UK, Claire Sweeney was on the same flight. Of the two, I know who I'd rather have joined the mile high club with (clue: not the scotsman with the dodgy sub-Genesis lyrics).
Didn't of course, with either |

Sat with Rik Mayll in Harrods once whilst having afternoon tea many years ago.
Asked him what he was doing next, sad he had something in the pipeline but couldn;t talk about it. Some time after came New Statesman |

Gloria Estphan
Tara para pomkinson whotsit

At least they were neighbours when they used thier Swiss Chalets during the ski season, and when they were there thier visitors looked like an awards A list.
Do you think they still look for me in the village in the hope of catching a glimpse |

More thoughts
I had dinner with Princess Anne one night.
I gave Prince Charles a soft toy to celebrate the birth of his first born back in 1982 when he came to visit me.
A good friend of mine piped in the New Year with us on Jan 1st this year, he wrote the soundtrack "Sergeant McKenzie" in the movie We were Soldiers, acted alongside Mel Gibson in Braveheart, choreographed the fight scenes in Braveheart and Gladiator.
A friend from Chameleons is an International DJ with many awards round the world and now lives in Miami where he has a "pimp my ride" business (the only PMR business that only does wheelchair pimping with DVD players surper sound systems, wifi pc and sat nav etc (did I say he is also a nutter)
My mate has loads of the Man Utd team round his house all the time, Giggs and Scholes went to his sons birthday party and I hate him cos for all of that he is a City Fan |

Got into an argument with Dale Winton over his shouting "Darling" at everyone.
Stalked Noel Gallagher round Liberty's once with my daughter.
Met most of the racing drivers from the 70/80/90's cus my dad worked for formula 1.
Went to school with Julia Carling (anyone remember her!)
And made a mug of tea for Princess Anne. She's fabulous, nice arse in a pair of jeans as well! |

I work with LOTS of "celebs", and take great pleasure in pretending I don't know who the hell they are, or loudly telling colleagues "I thought he/she died years ago". I've yet to be starstruck*, never treat them differently to anyone else I work with, it's my way or the highway.
The most embarrassing thing is walking towards someone who looks familiar, catching their eye and saying "Alright mate? How are you?" before you twig that they are "famous", and that you've never met them before.
The more famous they are, the better they are to deal with, their assistants are usually the real pain in the arse,I try to give them the slip them ASAP. It's also very satisfying when the celeb moves the screen of self-important flunkeys out of the way and says "Oh thank God it's you TheWolf, now I know everything's cool and the job will be fine." Assistants don't like it if they don't know you but their charge does. Ha.
The ones whose careers are on the wane are usually the hardest to work with, I have had to have stern words with one or two to point out that their glory days were before I was born. That usually brings them back to Earth!
* Perhaps once, I refused to go to a musician's house for a drink with a friend just in case the muso turned out to be a total arsehole. Seeing as he inspired me to pick up my first guitar and his music means the world to me, I wouldn't have been able to handle it if he turned out to be a stroppy twat. I chose not to risk it.
NEVER meet your heroes. |

"a friend served cilla black and said she was the biggest biggest bitch ever.. "
Why does that not surprise me? Maybe it's because I can't stand her
Strange how she always went on about “Liverpool” yet prefers to live in the South |
