It all depends who Im with as to whether I am shy or not

I am shy when around new people even people I have chatted to for a while online, I can be that bad that when I was a new mum I was told I was a stuck up cow cos I didnt go out with all the other new mums and get ratted every weekend - no one thought well she is new to the area and doesnt know anyone and is trying to make an effort to get to know other people in the area.

Although hubby and I together are a completly different story we are both quite shy on our own but when with mates we are the loudest people in the room mind you thats generally winding each other up

Nope not shy at all and would say i am quieter on here than in real life.

I think that might be cos i find most of the arguments on here pointless and brought about by the same people over and over again.

I'm chronically shy.

Thank god for the internet and breaking the ice first. It gives some common ground to start with.

Before the internet, I never used to speak to anyone.........

Ask Evie!

I'm much much quieter in here than I am really...like Steve I don't see the point in getting embroiled in the same old arguments. It has to be something that affects my life to get me raging.

I am quite shy....at least when I first meet people (but it only lasts a matter of minutes) and flies totally out of the window if I've had a few drinks, lol

Dontcha think that one of the really good things about going to socials is actually meeting the other forumites and finding out what they are like in real life......I've had one or two real surprises over the past five months...and all of them nice ones!!!

I think most people on here are different to what they are like in real life, im not shy at all, im not totally confident tho in real life, i find it much easier to talk to people on here, saying that in real life i am the type of person that if i have something to say to someone i will say it, where is on here i dont, theres been many times ive hate to bite my tongue on here and not type what ive really wanted, i suppose because on here things can be taken the wrong way and other people can read it too, if i had a problem with someone in real life id have a private word not stand from the roof tops and shout is and thats what your doing if you post on the forums, but so far as every day chit chat goes i find it much easier to chat to total strangers on here than i do in real life
