I love reading love stories. I love watching romantic tv and film. My playlist has a ridiculous amount of love songs. I melt at love poems.
But to me romance can only be very personalised. For it to be romantic it has to be specific about me and that partner. There are definitely things that get me weak in the knees but I'm not telling anyone about them. Open your eyes and pay attention ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

I'm not romantic in the least. Particularly not in the overly sentimental way. Hyper-independent eldest daughter syndrome I think. If a man is overly romantic it gives me the ick. There's probably something wrong with me 😂 |

‘My bounty is as boundless as the sea, My love as deep; the more I give to thee, The more I have, for both are infinite.’
Actually, I’m quite romantic 🥰
I am also a firm believer that it is more often than not the little things as opposed to grandiose and overly extravagant gestures that serve as the most romantic.
…..Ok, I’m a tight fisted romantic in other words 😜👍🏻 |

99% of the time no, it’s not my thing but every now & then someone just brings it all out and I imagine they could be the one & will learn to play & sing their favourite song or travel ridiculous distances to see them! |

"I was romantic with the one I love. As someone said its the little things that count.
For me love is forever, just cause he's no longer here doesn't mean I love him less" .. ..
Couldn't agree more ... wife passed 3 years ago and I love her still with all my heart .. ❤️ |
