I've always gone for the person rather than consciously thinking about their age, but always seemed to end up with older women (apart from my very first girlfriend). Not like 20 years older, just a few years. I guess the usual reasons you hear quoted apply - older women know what they want, don't mess you around etc, but also I found they were more likely to have similar values to me, were more confident and had fewer hangups. I ended up marrying Mrs Y who is a few years older than me and we've been very happy for a long time. As I've got older, my tastes don't appear to have changed - i.e. I don't lust after 20-somethings, but still find women my age or older far more attractive. | |||

I was always attracted to older women though - it was always the assumption that they were more open and experienced.
