Was due to hook up with my very first, and asked "set off now yeah"? To which she replied.. "yes"... good job I didn't cos 5 minutes later she said don't set off yet, when I asked for the address... and ghosted me... why not just say nevermind, I was sat with a stiffy for about 50 minutes 😆😅 jokes aside, i was sat there and she left me not knowing.. |

Yep, had it myself many times, even when I'm hosting. I've had the stringing along "I'm just round the corner" "stuck in traffic" and so on. Who knows what these people get out of it - it's a strange fetish for sure. |

It’s horrible isn’t it? Try to work out things you can do in future to guard against it happening in future. Possibly things like having a FaceTime call / cam time early on to ensure you are speaking to someone real that looks like you expect them to look. Get a general postcode of the area you are meeting in, does it match what you are expecting when you check on google maps? Is it an industrial estate or a residential street. Ideally meet for a quick social somewhere public and neutral like a coffee shop or pub or even a petrol station.
Good luck for next time. Try going to a local “social” event. That way you’ll meet real people face to face. |

Also some good verified people often lack ability to be detailed and fix dates , they aren’t fakes but they often can be flakes.Maybe they are just unsure if they really want to meet but they are bad communicators. |

Also had this. Seems quite common sadly. I had a social with the person, got on well (i thought) then arranged a 2nd full meet up booked agreed arrangements spoke night before next morning ghosted and blocked. Really frustrating |
