Your signature dish
Jump to: Newest in thread
What is it? The one you or others say is one of your best dishes. I like cooking so I have several but for the purpose of this thread I will say
'Meatballs and Orzo baked in the Oven'.
Just put the name here but if you like you can share the recipe on the 'Your signature dish - recipe'. Thank you ![](/icons/s/2/cute.gif) |

The dish im asked to cook most is a simple toad in the hole ,mash potatoes with an onion, apple n cider gravy.
If I was to choose my favourite it would be a warm salad with pan fried skin on chicken breast ,stornoway blackpudding with strawberries and a strawberry and raspberry coulis. May sound strange but I promise its feckin delicious |

Used to work in a greasy spoon caff. I can knock out four or five top notch fryups in ten minutes lol
Twice cooked Chinese BBQ pork, that's my favourite to make.
I'm pretty good at knocking out a roast dinner - be hard not to with 20 years practice lol |

If I was as good at oral sex as I am at cooking, I would be very popular!
"

Depends how much I'm trying to impress but the one I cook most for friends and family are molettes.
Toast a ciabatta roll then cover in refried beans and cheese (personally a little Chipotle in the beans really gives it zing) grill until the cheese is melted.
Cover in creme fraiche, and a fresh made chunky tomato salsa. Add guac if so desired.
It's hot and cold, veggie friendly and the flavours of the salsa make it feel super healthy despite the fact I've usually drowned it in melted cheese |

My salt, pepper and chilli chicken with honey and sriracha glaze is very popular in my house.
Chinese 5 spice belly pork with Pak choi and crispy sesame noodles.
Louisiana spiced pulled pork with Mac and cheese.
Raspberry and white chocolate roulade.
Pears poached in amaretto, with chocolate, almond and clotted cream bombe.

"A couple of dishes:
Lamb, courgette and ginger and lime (from Abel and Cole)
And venison with a port and olive sauce (or with a juniper berry, rosemary and garlic crust)"
The lamb dish caught my attention. ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |
