I’m sure for some it does. People have preferences or things they find attractive and height is one of them.
It’s never been a criteria for whether I find someone attractive or not. I have a playmate pushing 7ft and one not much taller than me. BOTH are gorgeous in their own right.

I like really tall and really short men. Met a few from here that were 6ft 5 and others that were 4ft 10. I don't actually know how tall I am. I put 5 ft 2 on my profile but I might be 5ft 4. Not may places to "height" yourself. |

According to the NHS I'm 178cm barefoot as of December 2013 which would make me 5'10".
That actually made me reduce the height on my profile by 1" as according to West Midlands Police (due to a very minor offence) I was 5'11" in 2003.
Fuck this shrinkflation bollocks...

I would pick whichever one was in the best shape. If they were of equal shape, then I would probably choose the taller man.

Door frames
Vehicles/public transport
Clothing and shoes
People are getting taller but the world is not adapting to accommodate. 🤷♂️ |

I married a short handsome man. I'll never get neck strain from kissing him. We're both perfectly comfortable on public transport and never have to duck under a doorframe. Plus our kids are so short we got away for years pretending they were too young to pay on trains and buses. Result  |

As a shorter than average gent I can think of 2 immediate advantages, firstly we have a lower centre of gravity, this is good for jelly wrestling and picking dropped money up from the floor. Ha, I scoff at some of you men that call yourself short 😏
I often point out the height discrepancy when someone a lot taller messages me on here. Invariably they never get back to me and that's OK.
I find my height is much less of an issue in clubs (demonstrated again last night) as I'm not a lurker, can hold a conversation and can fool folk into thinking I'm a half decent person. Also, for some, I'm a damn good shag  |

I am what I am, I’m a work in progress currently with the gym becoming more and more needed.
Self improvement with the goal of me doing it for me but then to find someone that looks and thinks, I like him.
Instead of being thought of as an option instead.

Fair point. My bringing it up to really tall people comes from being 99.99% sure that my height hasn't been noticed. It's not just men that can't/don't read profiles properly. |

I (A) am short. It really doesn't bother me. If someone wasn't interested in me for height related reasons, that's fine by me. I just move straight on and not really give it a second thought. I don't dwell on other people's preferences regarding body features much. If I meet them, great, if I don't, fair enough. Everyone's entitled to their own preferences and that I respect.
What I would say to people who are wondering if their height is a factor in them not finding success here is, try going to a club or a social, get yourself Infront of people and let the real you shine. You'll be surprised at the large amount of people who won't actually notice your height (we don't tend to walk around with height on a post-it note on our foreheads!). |

I’m tallish 6’1 I say ish because some say that’s average those people usually aren’t human but in fact titans 😆 but I always say humour is the best medicine, when I used to work as a chef we would constantly have banter about “well you’re the tall one so you can reach up on the top shelf to pass me stuff and I’d say well you’re short so you can get the stuff at the bottom to save me getting a bad back. I suppose it’s how you take it. We all have stuff we’d change but as long as you’re comfortable in your skin it doesn’t matter people will like you for you and those who don’t fuck’em. 😁 |

Speaking from a tall pov. I find short women sexy as fuck. I love being able to tower over someone and the feed back I've had has always been reciprocal. But I suppose I wouldn't have got that far if they hadn't been attracted to tall guys or are least me.
