What do you sleep to?
Jump to: Newest in thread
So I'm trying to balance my karma out having participating/causing one of the most toxic/unpleasant threads of my experience.
So before I'm ready for bed I like the white noise of an old sailing ship so lots or creeking wood, flapping sails, waves against the Hull and the occasional ships bell.
What's your nighttime lullaby

All sorts; waves, piano music, body scan.
I have a bluetooth speaker on the spare pillow beside me, eye mask also. I generally listen to sth every night to go asleep...this brain does not have an off switch 🤦♀️🤦♀️ |

Rain and thunder is my go to. I spend alot of time in hotel beds (travelling with work) and I find the common factor of a familiar background noise helps alleviate the 'unfamiliar' environment.
Occasionally, I'll put on jungle noise or the white noise and radio chatter of a space-cockpit.
If you like to fall asleep to spoken word though, I can't recommend listening to ALAN WATTS enough! A speaker of philosophy and one of the greatest sounding voices ever recorded! |
