Have you ever considered taken the vows? Perhaps you have been one but in the end you decided it was not for you.

Somewhere In The Ether…

I visited Quarr Abbey on the Isle Of Wight a few months back.

A really beautiful and serene environment and I did actually question myself if I could ever lead such a solitary, tech-free and pious life.

….Then my iPhone beeped and notified me that I needed to defend my base in Clash Of Clans because some scrote was nicking my resources and I experienced a random thought of a lewd and carnal nature.

In summary, I really could never be a monk 😜

When I was younger I always wanted to be a nun. My nana used to take me for days out to a retreat where the nuns always seemed lovely, friendly and happy. I always wanted to join. Think it was the calmness. I got a little older and decided Buddhist monks were way cooler and I’d rather be one of them. Still have a thing for nuns and priests though. I may have been known to dress up once or twice 🙈
