Respect is a two way thing but as with most things is personal and therefore there will be many individual views of what respect is and isn’t.
For example . Person A see’s picture on a profile, does not read the profile therefore not identifying that the profile clearly states the profile owner is not looking for people of their age, gender or preference. Decide’s to message profile owner anyway. . In this scenario for me person A has not respected the profile owner’s preferences.
If the profile owner decides not to reply, are they really being disrespectful? I would say no. |

You cannot demand that everybody uses the site in the same way as you do. Nobody agreed to reading peoples profiles when signing up. The site allows you to message anybody that chooses to receive unsolicited messages.
I’m not sure that not reading a profile before messaging is disrespectful, it’s not always sensible , not replying to a message is definitely not disrespectful. |

Awww he left he was definitely disrespected and I suppose it is difficult being a guy on here and the messaging system ,no reply not interested etc I guess it's all down to the way you message your username and whether you've got it zipped up ,see you soon . |

I do agree. Respect is a very important thing that has been forgotten. Treat others as you would wish to be treated. My respect can also be lost through words and deeds and once lost it needs to be earned back. |
