Watched it last night on the back of Demi winning an award, just wondering if anyone else has watched, and what you thought?

Absolutely weirded me out, the whole premise. Totally understand the directors intentions and the messaging, just really got me freaked!

Is it a good watch? Even if you found it a little weird

Yeah it definitely is, for that reason.

It’s filmed in a peculiar way, and just has something I can’t put my finger on, admittedly I felt a bit queasy at the end, but certainly worth the watch!

Fantastic videography and some exceptional shots of Demi who looks fabulous.

An interesting premise, quite entertaining and engaging for the first 2/3, then it completely lost me. No spoilers, but I was genuinely “WTF”….

The last 10 minutes of this film were rubbish.

Disappointed.

It’s awful. I really can’t understand the hype.

I also saw ‘subservience’ and that is just as bad. It’s like a bad rip off of M3gan

Is it just me or are most films nowadays just rubbish ?

It was my top film for last year and I really liked it, but I am a massive Cronenberg fan so body horror is my thing. I am very 50/50 over the last scene and quite understand why it may not be for everyone or it was a bit over the top, but for me it had to be quite graphic.

I would suggest a film called ‘Society’ from 1989 that had a very similar aesthetic artistically to this film, if you enjoyed it.

I get the dislike but for me it was a really enjoyable and engaging film with a great message and not forgetting, acting from all of the cast.

I wasn’t very impressed. I think it got a lot of praise because of Demi Moore and her age but I prefer Cronenberg for that genre. Society, existence, naked lunch etc all do it better in my opinion

It felt about one hour too long, I was quite bored by the final scene
