It is. Someone recently said to me about when I get to their age and it made me realise I've got so much more ahead of me. So much living and seeing the world to do. The opportunities career wise, family wise. I used to think 35 was old.
Perhaps when I'm older I'll see my internal age as being different.
I think I'll be happy when I reach certain older ages, the privilege it is to get to that point. To have lived those years and all they'll have involved. "Yes! "There are a lot of threads focussing on age at the moment. I think it doesn't matter how old you are chronologically you kind of settle on an age at some point and stay there on the inside. I'm probably about 45/50 mentally and will stay there until I'm called to the great coffee shop in the sky. Mentally, in my late 20s, early 30s. Physically, given the rate everything's wearing out, probably 90s. According to the lovely correspondence I've recently received, I'm about to become an old age pensioner. When the fuck did that happen?
