Top photos - blessing or curse?

Hi all.
Before I start, I know this is not an issue I will ever have but, for those who post such amazing pictures and videos, is it a blessing or a curse when you make page 1 of the most fabbed?
I imagine you must get inundated with messages? |

I find if I post a pic of me playing with someone, it gets a lot more fabs than the pics I like, which are of me out in public.
When the former gets the fabs, I do get some pretty odd messages in my inbox  |

Depends on your motivation for posting photos I guess.
Some chase fabs because it boosts their confidence and gives their ego a little bump. Others are just exhibitionists.
If it means their inbox is full of messages from people that's for them to deal with via filters. If they choose not to that's on them.
Anyone can fab a photo. You can't pick and choose who. So you'll get them from people you'd never in a million years be interested in.
Some fab because they like the photo. Some fab because they think it will get them somewhere, usually your knickers. 99.99999% of the time it won't and people won't go looking though their 'who's fabbed me' list looking for playmates. |

I once got to page 7 and it was chaos. The news of the world were climbing trees in my garden trying to pap me, some bugger with a telephoto lens hired a helicopter trying to catch candid shots of me, Piers Morgan hacked my voicemail. I couldn't leave the flat for weeks, it was a nightmare.
I've never aimed for those giddy heights again. |
