Wilts/Somerset

I’ve seen a few posts lately asking for favourite songs by bands like Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys. What’s your favourite group from the era and are there any gigs happening this year with those playing? I managed to catch Tears For Fears and The Human League over the last few years which were great. I’ve recently got tickets for Forever Now Festival which is hosting a whole bunch of great bands from that time. Anyone else going or considering it?

Frankie Goes to Hollywood

Excommunicdo.

Depeche mode

Duran Duran

Pet Shop boys

They were pretty much my staple diet of 80’s listening, until it was infiltrated by that filthy thing called Rock, and I discovered Metallica.

looking back now with nostalgia there are so many classic artists, all of which already mentioned and I'm sure more to come...

at the time, my faves were Simple Minds, INXS, Huey Lewis & the News, Talk Talk, and dare I admit it... Phil Collins

BUMP! There's more 80's legends to list yet..

anyway, ignoring the fact I could easily Google it, and to give this thread a nudge; where and when is Forever Now Festival?
