I’ve seen a few posts lately asking for favourite songs by bands like Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys. What’s your favourite group from the era and are there any gigs happening this year with those playing? I managed to catch Tears For Fears and The Human League over the last few years which were great. I’ve recently got tickets for Forever Now Festival which is hosting a whole bunch of great bands from that time. Anyone else going or considering it? |

looking back now with nostalgia there are so many classic artists, all of which already mentioned and I'm sure more to come...

A lot of my fav bands in the 1980’s were punk and Oi! I’ll park them for this and put my fav 80’s Romantic groups were/are.
Adam and the Ants
Depeche Mode
Spandau Ballet
Duran Duran
Human League
Other bands include

...Indie/ Goth girls in stockings were always attractive too ... some of the Indie clubs had very poor lighting and more than a few dark corners .. the nostalgia for club snogs attracted me to swinging lol! |
