What's you favourite Sunday Hymn? I enjoy ecleciastical music of all kinds, including byzantine music and chants. Re Sunday hymns though, Amazing grace, All tiings bright and beautiful and Be thou my vision are amongst the top.

I quite like 'the old rugged cross' and 'for those in peril on the sea'.

We sang that last one at my uncles naval funeral. It was very moving.

Three wooden crosses. It's not a hymn as sung in church but it's as close to a hymn as I'll get.

I do like he's got the whole world in his hands though and all creatures great and small.

I think it’s the connection with other people in other places across the centuries using their voices to create something more than themselves. It’s innately human, powerful and beautiful.

I have a lot of 'music' of byzantine and other liturgies. It is not something I listen to everyday but like it. I rarely find other people that heard of it, never mind like it so it is nice to see others do here.

In a good way, my taste in music is or can be something nobody listens to or they only know the more popular artists

I see. The diversiry of what I like in music can be very surprising to most people. I can make the jump from Black Sabbath to Kylie via Rigoletto, Fidelio and Turandot very easily.
