All over

What is your favourite soup? Nothing better than a nice bowl of soup and some lovely bread this time of year. I am very partial to a fish soup like bouillabaisse but there are so many lovely soups and so easy to experiment making them.

I make minestrone soup quite often. There's also so much leftover that it makes me so happy. Love a good chunky soup.

Minestrone is my absolute favourite. Years ago we went to an Italian restaurant that did three courses for £5 (yes, that long ago), the first course was home made minestrone, it was delicious and I've been a fan ever since.

It might be easier if you tell us why you don't as only one on thread who doen't. Soups can be so tasty as there can be so many combinations, it's heart warming food, can be healthy and nutricious, easy to make etc.

A decent home made soup that's properly seasoned is absolutely delicious. A tin of Heinz minestrone is pretty good too.

It's an easy meal, takes little time to prepare and means hardly any washing up.
