Resolutions, do you make them?

Do you stick to them?

Have you greatly benefited from them?

Are you like…f#%k this by Jan 15th ?

Brum - ish

Not as such. I set goals for the year - but I see resolutions as being broader more/less statements that end up falling by the wayside.

This year I’ve lost weight, improved in pole and moved into and sorted out a new house.

I don’t make resolutions, rather make goals and work on them.

I hit 4/5 of 2024’s goals and the last one was out of my control so I’m not taking it as a loss.

Goals is a better term, set your goals for the year to come sure, but new years resolutions are pointless. If you want to change something, don't wait until a commercial holiday, do it now no excuses.

I've only had one NY resolution that I've managed to stick to. I started exercising and changed my eating/drinking habits 7 years ago. I lost 10 dress sizes, I never weighed myself so I never knew how much weight I did lose 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm happy with the new me

How about you OP?

Mine is to finally leave fab .

I hang around perving the pics and browsing the forums, but pretty much a waste of time and I could be doing something more constructive.

I generally don’t make NY resolutions but I do like to make plans for the next year ahead.

Holidays

Catching up with old friends I haven’t seen in the past year

Lifestyle changes and addressing my work/life balance seems to be a constant struggle. X

Delightful Bliss

Yes, but I give myself a whole year in which to do them, as busy lives tend to take over

I’ve only ever had one serious one and that was to quit smoking. That was 16 years ago and I haven’t had a cigarette since. I’m setting myself one this year but I’m already halfway to achieving it so I SHOULD stick to it.

This year I will rearrange my office, make it more about me and less about work. I'm resisting the desire to add a sofa.

I'm going to pull my belt at least one hole tighter and I am going to do my best to see more of those close to me and one further away.

Did I say more sex?

I do. But I choose something that will bring me fun or joy each time I do it. I think people forget resolutions can be fun.
