Tis the season of doing fuck all.
Are you ok with getting out of bed at 11am staying in your pajamas all day , slobbing around the house watching telly and eating crap.
Or
Eyes open,up dressed housework done chores chores chores, DIY , gym or a run maybe shopping but never sitting still.
For many it'll be working others with children don't get a rest.
I'm assuming that if you are reading this you're in the up and awake camp? |

I never sit in pyjamas all day but otherwise yeah, I'm lazy at this time of year. I see no harm in it myself. Taking a break from 'real life' especially if you work does you a power of good, it'll be noses to the grindstone again on Thursday.
Written from a prone position in bed. |

I am definitely a man of duality and extremes, I can excel in both camps.
Although this last week has seen me comfortably lounging around in the former wondering what snack to grab next (there have been a couple of days where I only got dressed because the dog needed walking!) |

I’m a big believer that we need downtime, and if you don’t give yourself that, your body will force you to with an illness.
Saying that, I like to be busy unless I’m consciously winding down.
A good mix is healthy.

I did fuck all yesterday except go to see friends in the evening. Today I’m the chore master. Tidying up, loading washing machine, washing up etc. well, that’s what I’m planning. I haven’t got up yet 😂 |

I'm normally up at 5am, for the last week I've slept in till 6/6.30am. I can't lounge in bed once I'm awake.
Though I've not done a lot this last week so I can be quite lazy. But lazy me is an arse, I need to be busy. |

I can't be too lazy, or my tip of a house turns into a pig sty.
I'm not an up and at 'em person though. I sit on the sofa for a few hours, waiting for my medication to kick in, and mentally organising my day.
I tend to wake up in the afternoon and start my day proper then.
What I do other than laundry and washing up depends on which part of my body is stiff and painful, and how tired I am.

I've slowed down over Christmas, spent a bit more time than usual in front of the tele, a few late nights and late starts but I've also enjoyed long walks and even longer cycles and I've also got a few DIY jobs done. |

Lazy in that I look like I’ve got dressed in the dark and not washed my hair for longer than usual, but I potter about on a daily basis with the basics (laundry, sorting out the dogs, sorting out the kids etc) and my mum has the lurgy which she has kindly passed on to me, so not feeling productive or that guilty tbh.

I’ve done fuck all! I’m on 17 days off, cleaned the flat on my first day, did a wash and emptied the bins. Then sat on my arse watching tv, eating crap and being a pest on here
Made myself go for a swim yesterday and quite enjoyed it so am going again this afternoon. I don’t want to but I know I’ll feel better afterwards. |

This is about the only proper downtime I get all year so I'm in the lounging around in pjs eating crap camp. I'm aiming to go back to swimming before work next week. That will be a killer as I didn't go at all in December. I like lazy me. I'm much nicer when I'm relaxed. |

I’m the lazy guy who spends most of his time horizontal when I’m at home. So I’m enjoying the Xmas break.
Shame the really inconsiderate neighbour I have upstairs is constantly stomping when she’s there. So I have to wear noise cancelling headphones |

I normally have to be doing something. I dont mind the odd lazy day but generally I'm up doing something in the house or taking the kids out if I'm not working. I've had to slow down a bit lately as I have some health issues meaning I can't do as much as I normally would, I pay for it later if I try. I'm being fairly lazy at the moment and trying to not push myself too far. |
