I got some lovely gifts.
The best one was spending the day with our family. I know it's corny but my dad will soon be 98 and if this isn't the last Christmas I spend with him it is certainly one of the last. I really enjoyed being able to feed them all, have more than enough to offer them all and just all be together.
Right! That's my corny post for the year done and dusted |

It’s not corny at all, I know somebody going through a similar scenario, it’s important to be there for family and appreciate the time spent with them
Hopefully you will get to spend a few more christmases with them. |

It's been really lovely. I'm feeling really rather fortunate and lucky and all those soppy sentiments. I didn't ask for anything in particular, just asked for no *stuff*. I don't really like stuff and I'd much rather someone saved their money and we went out for coffee/lunch or something.
But yes, it's been great. It's not over yet though! Tomorrow I'm hosting some of my numerous siblings and very much looking forward to that. 🎄 |
