I think this is the last year my 9-year old will believe. She's already suggested that I've bought everything this year but is still going along with the traditions.
When did yours stop believing in Santa? |

When did yours stop believing in Santa?"
Son - can't actually remember
The other one - still believes and is pouring Santa a glass of Fanta right now |

Tonight, when my wife got in a strop, threw the presents around, shouted “make sure you put the f*****g stockings in their rooms” and stormed off to bed….
Apparently it was my fault that one of the presents needed re-wrapping… who knew?
Anyway… yes - he’s 10 - so we’ve had a good run, and there’s still plenty of fun to be had as they get a bit bigger - it’s just a bit different. |

Our children are 16, 17 and 25.
Today we decided to put the presents under the tree this afternoon instead of doing it tonight.
We've had a polite "telling off" from them all because Santa doesn't come until tonight so how are there presents under the tree already.
Next year we have to go back to how we've always done it, sneaking them under the tree when they are all in bed.
We are quite flattered though that they've obviously loved how we've played Santa for all these years |

I know, myself, I was about seven and my older brother about eight when we found the toys in the pantry as they called it back then, same toys we opened on Christmas Day and never believed it after thatI know, myself, I was about seven and my older brother about eight when we found the toys in the pantry as they called it back then, same toys we opened on Christmas Day and never believed it after that |

"I was still getting a present under the tree from Father Christmas when I was 22. 🥰"
I still believe in Father Christmas, after all, I was him for many years while my daughter was growing up. And I was married to the Tooth Fairy.
Father Christmas is the spirit of the season, and he lives in the hearts send through the actions of all the parents and carers who dutifully and lovingly wrap and place presents for the little people in their lives.
Long live Santa.
